The University agrees for the 2017/8 Academic year to : Design in partnership with schools a programme which meets the ITT regulations (2017) and the Teachers’ Standards Take responsibility with schools for improving the achievement of pupils of all abilities in Partnership schools through school based initial teacher education In partnership with all stakeholders develop a shared partnership vision Involve school partners in the recruitment and selection of trainees; the design, delivery, assessment, and evaluation of the programmes and improvement planning by the partnership. Provide appropriate professional development and support for school based mentors and link tutors Develop guidance, in partnership with schools with regard to the management of mentoring and provision of appropriate documentation Quality assure all aspects of school-based ITE by developing an annual quality assurance cycle Involve relevant stakeholders in the regular evaluation of the partnership, providing feed
