Temporary Construction Fencing shall be installed in these locations to prevent pedestrians and other users of the existing or new sidewalks from gaining access to the work areas. Temporary Construction Fencing, where required, shall completely separate the entire construction activity from pedestrians. It is not acceptable to place “construction tape” or hazard cones around excavations, construction areas, etc. A more rigid method of protection is required.
