The board of directors (the “Board” or the “Directors”) of Sim Leisure Group Ltd. (the “Company”, and together with its subsidiaries, the “Group”) wishes to announce the entry into a theme park agreement on 1 November 2023 (the “Agreement”) by a wholly owned subsidiary, Sim Leisure Escape Sdn. Bhd. (“Sim Leisure Escape”) with Bandar Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. (the “Owner”) in relation to the development, construction, operation and maintenance of an environmentally sustainable ESCAPE park (the “Escape Park @KL Base”) owned by Sim Leisure Escape (the “Project”) within the designated area at KL Base, Jalan Lapangan Terbang Lama, Kuala Lumpur Wilayah Persekutuan, Malaysia (“KL Base”).
