If you are receiving funding via the local authority this is an additional payment which is requested by individual care homes on top of the local authority rate. This payment must be covered by a third party contract and is a seperate agreement between Oldham Cares (The local authority) and the third party (not the resident). Please make sure that you fully understand the costs and the arrangements in place with the care home before signing any agreement.
