Summary of Main Points This agreement replaces the previous agreement in the LEA Personnel Handbook.The agreement sets out the facilities that should be made available to accredited representatives of recognised Employee Organisations. The amendments to the previous agreement take account of the changed responsibilities of the LEA and Governing Bodies set out in the Schools’ Standards and Framework Act.It is a model of good practice, complies with Employment Legislation and will contribute to good industrial relations in schools.
