ECO TRANSIT TRADE AGREEMENT DESIRING to facilitate Trade among Member States, CONSIDERING that improvement of Transit Trade through Member States is essential, AGREEING that uniform, simplified and harmonized administrative formalities including customs procedures in the field of regional trade, in particular at border crossing points, sea-ports and airports, are necessary for achieving the objectives of the Treaty of Izmir. The MEMBER STATES of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) have concluded this Agreement: CHAPTER 1 GENERAL (a) Title Article- I This Agreement shall be called the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Transit Trade Agreement. (b) Definition Article-II (i) Member State shall mean a State which is member of the Economic Cooperation Organization ( ECO) (ii) Secretariat shall mean Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization.
