Unattended release agreement for students in Grades 4-9 refers to a student being dismissed at the end of day by their teacher or during lunch recess (only if the child lives within walking distance of the school) without having an authorized adult sign them out directly from the teacher. A signed unattended release form does not give students permission to sign themselves out from school during regular school hours.
