UDOT and the Town have an existing Utility License Agreement that provides for the installation and maintenance of utilities and related facilities in the State SR-9 right of way, review of encroachment permits for the installation and repair of utilities, inspection of construction of utilities, traffic control, and so forth. We received a letter from UDOT in July that they are updating all existing agreements that are over five years old to bring the agreements into conformance with current rules and formatting. Our existing agreement was approved and signed in July of 2014.
