This Agreement sets forth the rights and responsibilities of volunteer participants in the Vanpool Program as established by Spokane Transit, hereinafter referred to as the Agency. Each vanpool group must have one volunteer Primary Driver, at least one volunteer Backup Driver, and a volunteer Bookkeeper. The same person may fulfill more than one role (e.g., a Driver or Rider may also be a Bookkeeper). Each vanpool group must have a minimum of five persons to start and maintain a vanpool.

This Agreement sets forth the rights and responsibilities of volunteer participants in the Vanpool Program as established by Spokane Transit, hereinafter referred to as the Agency. The Vanpool Program, as referred to below, means the Vanpool Program administered by the Agency. Volunteer Driver means all persons who are approved by the Agency to operate the vanpool vehicle. Volunteer Bookkeeper means the person who has been approved by the Agency to collect and submit monies and reports pertinent to the operation of the vanpool. Rider means all persons who ride in the vanpool vehicle, including the Drivers and Bookkeeper. Each vanpool group must have one volunteer Primary Driver, at least one volunteer Backup Driver, and a volunteer Bookkeeper. The same person may fulfill more than one role (e.g., a Driver or Rider may also be a Bookkeeper). Each vanpool group must have a minimum of five persons to start and maintain a vanpool.

A participant may choose to withdraw from the vanpool at any time; however, his or her Volunteer Vanpool Participant Agreement and monthly fare will continue in force until the rider gives written notice ten days before the beginning of the next month.
