Common use of Taxes Clause in Contracts

Taxes. Licensee shall pay and bear all taxes, duties or levies imposed by or pursuant to any statute or law of the Territory because of the licensing, manufacturing, exploitation, selling, renting, possession or use of all or any part of the Pictures(s) and there shall be no deductions, reductions, withholdings or offsets of any kind or nature from any sums due hereunder, including bank charges, withholding taxes, conversion taxes, remittance taxes, counterclaims, custom duties or similar charges imposed by any governmental body upon the licensing, delivery, exploitation or use of the Picture or return of materials.
