Academic Activities definition

Academic Activities means critical inquiry, research and learning in the pursuit of official recognition at the University. Examples of Academic Activities include:
Academic Activities means and includes all operations, academic instruction, field trips, programs, events, clubs, athletics, and other activities conducted or sponsored by ACDS, or in which ACDS or any athletic team, club or other organization or group sponsored or permitted by ACDS participates, whether on the premises of ACDS main campus, upper school campus or at any other location or premises. By way of example and not of limitation, “Academic Activities” includes, among other things, instructional or administrative operations, educational classes, recreational and competitive athletic and sports activities, recreational and competitive interscholastic activities, summer camps, music programs, art programs, drama programs, food service, graduation ceremonies, recreational sports leagues sponsored by ACDS, the provision of first aid and other medical care, and any other kind of classes, programs, presentations, social gatherings, and activities. I acknowledge that a significant portion of Academic Activities are conducted on the premises of ACDS;
Academic Activities means lectures, practical, tutorial, assignment, or all other forms of teaching and learning prescribed for the course of studies of a particular Programme of Studies;

  • Obstruction of the Academic Activities of Another It is academic misconduct to interfere with the scholarly/academic activities of another for malicious interference or in order to gain unfair academic advantage.

  • Student Will Not Participate in the Regular Class & Extracurricular & Non Academic Activities: Document the regular education environments where the student will not participate with typically developing peers: Provide rationale for non-participation.

  • Students are monitored by Academic Activities and Regular Substantive Interaction with faculty.

  • Definition‌Attendance and Participation in Academic Activities, including but not limited to:Personal assistance to class, where there is a direct interaction between instructor and student, presentation of academic work by testing, interactive tutorial instruction, computer-assisted instruction; assigned work group, participation in an on-line discussion of the academic field, establishment of contact with the instructor to ask questions about an academic project, among others.

  • FAIR DAYS / ATHLETICS / SCHOOL DAYSAny school related activity which includes, but not limited to FFA, Athletic Activities, Academic Activities, Fair Days, etc.

  • Annually evaluate the Flagship Projects of ELSA falling under the area of Academic Activities and share the outcome with National Groups.
