Admitted Body definition

Admitted Body has the meaning given to it in Clause 28A.1 (Contractor to Become Admitted Body);
Admitted Body means a body admitted to the LGPS;
Admitted Body a transferee admission body for the purposes of regulation 6 of the Administration Regulations (or any subsequent enactment thereof);

Examples of Admitted Body in a sentence

  • The Minister will ensure that the Contracting Authority is notified as soon as reasonably practicable of the Minister becoming aware that the Admitted Body has failed to comply with any of the requirements of participation in the Schemes including, without limitation, the failure to pay any sum due under Clause 7 below.

  • In such scenarios, the ceding employer shall be required to present the rationale and sufficient evidence to satisfy the Fund that the employer should not be treated as a Transferee Admitted Body for funding purposes.

  • Any agreement between the Admitted Body and any of the Schemes that results in the settlement of any one off payment being spread over a period of time or merged into the regular monthly employer contribution rate shall not deem that element to be part of the regular employer contribution rate.

  • The Admitted Body shall transfer all necessary member records to any new employer on such occasions and in such a manner as required by the Schemes notified under the EPG.

  • The Admitted Body undertakes to the Minister that it shall not do anything to prejudice its participation in the Schemes.

  • The Contracting Authority may, at its discretion, set off against any payments due to the Admitted Body under the Contract an amount equal to any overdue employer and employee contributions and/or other payments due from the Admitted Body to the Schemes under this Agreement and/or the Acts.

  • The Admitted Body and the Contracting Authority agree to fully and promptly co-operate with any investigation, process or determination carried out by the Pensions Ombudsman, and /or the IDRP and/or any other dispute resolution process and/or any determinations made there under.

  • The Admitted Body will indemnify the Contracting Authority and the Minister, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Schemes, for any losses incurred by those Parties arising from a breach by the Admitted Body of any term of this Agreement.

  • The Admitted Body shall not grant an additional period of membership or additional pension in respect of any Admitted Person which would result in an increase in the Schemes’ liabilities, save to the extent that the appropriate sum as notified to the Admitted Body by the Scheme Actuary is paid by the Admitted Body to the Minister.

  • This Agreement will automatically terminate upon the earlier of the below events: the last Admitted Person ceasing to be an active member of any of the Schemes under this Agreement, provided that no Eligible Employee remains, in which case termination shall only occur when no Eligible Employee remains eligible to participate; termination of the Contract unless the Admitted Body continues to provide the Service in whole or part where these have been retendered by the Contracting Authority.

Related to Admitted Body

  • Enlisted member means a person in an enlisted grade.

  • Admitted patient means a person who occupies an approved bed in a hospital for the purpose of hospital treatment and includes:

  • designated body means a person appointed under subsection (1) to be a designated body for the purposes of this section;

  • Lead Member shall, in the case of a joint venture, mean the member of such joint venture who shall have the authority to bind the contractor and each member of the Joint venture; and shall be deemed to be the Contractor for the purposes of this Agreement; the Lead Member shall itself undertake and perform at least 51% (fifty one per cent) of the total length of the Project Highway;

  • Admitted assets means the amount thereof as of the last day of the most recently concluded annual statement year, computed in accordance with rule 191—5.6(505,515,520).

  • Interested Member means any person (other than the Company and any direct or indirect majority-owned subsidiary of the Company) that:

  • Voting Member means a Member holding one or more Voting Shares.

  • Trading Member means a Person who has been approved by Nadex to trade directly and not through a FCM Member on the Market, and does not include any FCM Member.

  • appointed member means a member referred to in section 5(1)(a) or (b);

  • Panel Member ’ means a member of a panel;

  • lay member means a member of the Authority, who is not, nor has been:

  • Submitted Bid has the meaning specified in Section 11.10(d)(i) below.

  • Principal Member means the person who signs the application and is responsible for the payment of premiums.

  • ☐ - MULTI-MEMBER The “Capital Account” for each Member shall mean the account created and maintained for the Member in accordance with Section 704(b) of the Internal Revenue Code and Treasury Regulation Section 1.704-1(b)(2)(iv).

  • Public purchasing body means the State or the subdivision or agency making a public purchase. Government Code Section 4550.

  • A Member means a companion, fellow, member, honorary member, associate or affiliate of the Society

  • Public member means a person who is not a health

  • Potential Member means an individual who meets the eligibility requirements to enroll in the Oregon Health Plan but has not yet enrolled with a specific PHP or CCO.

  • Nominated Person means a person who is a member, or a member and Officer, of the Association

  • Co-opted Member means a person who is not a member of the authority but who-

  • Full Member means any person who is in one of the categories of membership referred to in Rule 10.2.

  • Qualified Bidder(s means a Bidder who fulfills the eligibility criteria listed out in the E-Auction Process Information Document.

  • Non-Voting Member means a member of a Committee or Sub- Committee of the Council who is not a member of the Council and is not entitled to vote on any matter coming before that Committee or Sub- Committee;

  • Public Director means a Person that meets the qualifications described in Rule 207(e).

  • Nominated Recipient means a person appointed by You to receive particular FIT Payments and recorded as such on the Central FiT Register;

  • Successful Bidder(s) means the bidder(s) to whom work in this tender is awarded.
