Agent of the insurer definition

Agent of the insurer means an insurance producer who sells, solicits, or negotiates an application for insurance as a representative of the insurer and not the insured or the insured's beneficiary.
Agent of the insurer means a licensed producer of the Department appointed by an insurer to sell, solicit or negotiate applications for policies of insurance on its behalf and, if authorized to do so by the insurer, to issue conditional receipts.

  • The Insured means the person specified as such in the Schedule.

  • Primary Mortgage Insurance Policy Any primary mortgage guaranty insurance policy issued in connection with a Mortgage Loan which provides compensation to a Mortgage Note holder in the event of default by the obligor under such Mortgage Note or the related Security Instrument, if any or any replacement policy therefor through the related Interest Accrual Period for such Class relating to a Distribution Date.

  • Insurer means a person who insures or guarantees for the benefit of the mortgagee all or any portion of the risk of loss upon borrower default on any of the mortgage loans originated, purchased or serviced by the Company or any of its Subsidiaries, including the Federal Housing Administration, the United States Department of Veterans’ Affairs, the Rural Housing Service of the U.S. Department of Agriculture and any private mortgage insurer, and providers of hazard, title or other insurance with respect to such mortgage loans or the related collateral.

  • R&W Insurer means AIG Specialty Insurance Company.

  • Existing insurer means the insurance company whose policy or contract is or will be changed or affected in a manner described within the definition of “replacement.”

  • Title Insurance Policies means, with respect to each Individual Property, an ALTA mortgagee title insurance policy in a form acceptable to Lender (or, if an Individual Property is in a State which does not permit the issuance of such ALTA policy, such form as shall be permitted in such State and acceptable to Lender) issued with respect to such Individual Property and insuring the lien of the Mortgage encumbering such Individual Property.

  • Certificate Insurer As defined in the Series Supplement.

  • Environmental Insurance Policy With respect to any Mortgaged Property securing a Serviced Mortgage Loan or any Administered REO Property, any insurance policy covering pollution conditions and/or other environmental conditions that is maintained from time to time in respect of such Mortgaged Property or Administered REO Property, as the case may be, for the benefit of, among others, the Trustee on behalf of the Certificateholders.

  • Acceptable Insurance Default shall have the meaning assigned to such term or analogous term in the Servicing Agreement.

  • Certificate Insurer Default The existence and continuance of any of the following:

  • Reimbursement insurance policy means a policy of insurance

  • Primary Mortgage Insurance Insurance obtained from a Primary Mortgage Insurer which insures the holder of a Mortgage Note against loss in the event the related Borrower defaults under such Mortgage Note or the related Security Instrument, including all riders and endorsements thereto.

  • D&O Liability Insurance Policies means all insurance policies (including any “tail policy”) of any of the Debtors for liability of any current or former directors, managers, officers, and members.

  • authorised insurer means an insurer that holds an authorisation to carry on insurance business for the purposes of Directive 73/239/EEC or that is otherwise entitled to carry on non-life insurance business in the State;

  • Required Insurance Policy With respect to any Mortgage Loan, any insurance policy that is required to be maintained from time to time under this Agreement.

  • Special Primary Insurance Policy Any Primary Insurance Policy covering a Mortgage Loan the premium of which is payable by the Trustee pursuant to Section 4.04(a), if so identified in the Mortgage Loan Schedule. There are no Special Primary Insurance Policies with respect to any of the Mortgage Loans.

  • Mortgage Insurance means insurance protecting Lender against the nonpayment of, or default on, the Loan.

  • Insurance Policies has the meaning set forth in Section 3.16.

  • General Special Servicer mean the Person performing the duties and obligations of special servicer with respect to the Mortgage Pool (exclusive of (A) any Serviced Loan Combination or related REO Property as to which a different Loan Combination Special Servicer has been appointed with respect thereto and (B) any Excluded Special Servicer Mortgage Loan or any related REO Property as to which an Excluded Mortgage Loan Special Servicer has been appointed with respect thereto).

  • Endorsement contract means an agreement under which a student athlete is employed or receives consideration to use on behalf of the other party any value that the student athlete may have because of publicity, reputation, following, or fame obtained because of athletic ability or performance.
