Alleged father definition

Alleged father means a man who alleges himself to be, or is alleged to be, the genetic father or a possible genetic father of a child, but whose paternity has not been determined. The term does not include:

It includes a person whose marriage to the mother was terminated more than three hundred days before the birth of the child or who was separated from the mother more than three hundred days before the birth of the child. Alleged father means a man who is alleged to have fathered the child who is the subject of an action to establish the father's paternity under this act.
