Examples of Allied Enterprise in a sentence
Subject to Section 6(b) below, the specified performance goal applicable to a Performance Share Award or Performance Unit Award may but need not consist, without limitation, of any one or more of the following: completion of a specified period of employment with or other service that benefits the Company or a Subsidiary or an Allied Enterprise, achievement of financial or operational goals, and/or the occurrence of a specified circumstance or event.
The Committee may but need not provide for a Service Provider’s Performance Share Award or Performance Unit Award to be forfeited in whole or in part if such Participant’s employment by or other service that benefits the Company, a Subsidiary or an Allied Enterprise terminates for any reason before shares are issued or money is paid (as applicable) in full settlement of such Performance Share Award or Performance Unit Award.
Stock Appreciation Rights may be granted for such lawful consideration, including but not limited to money or other property, tangible or intangible, or labor or services received or to be received by the Company, a Subsidiary or an Allied Enterprise, as the Committee may determine when the Stock Appreciation Rights are granted.
Nothing in this Agreement will be construed to confer upon the Grantee the right to continue in the employment or service of the Company, its Subsidiaries or Allied Enterprises, or to be employed or serve in any particular position therewith, or affect any right which the Company, its Subsidiaries or an Allied Enterprise may have to terminate the Grantee’s employment or service with or without cause.
Nothing in this Plan or in any instrument executed pursuant hereto shall confer upon any person any right to continue in the employment or other service of the Company or a Subsidiary or an Allied Enterprise, or shall affect the right of the Company or a Subsidiary or any Allied Enterprise to terminate the employment or other service of any person at any time with or without cause.
Options may be granted for such lawful consideration, including but not limited to money or other property, tangible or intangible, or labor or services received or to be received by the Company, a Subsidiary or an Allied Enterprise, as the Committee may determine when the Option is granted.
So long as the Grantee shall continue to be an employee of the Company, a Subsidiary or Allied Enterprise, he or she shall not be considered to have experienced a break in continuous employment because of: (i) any temporary leave of absence approved in writing by the Company, a Subsidiary or Allied Enterprise; or (ii) any change of duties or position (including transfer to or from a Subsidiary).
Nothing in this Plan or in any instrument executed pursuant hereto shall confer upon any person any right to continue in the employment or other service of the Company or a Subsidiary or an Allied Enterprise, or shall affect the right of the Company or a Subsidiary or any Allied Enterprise to terminate the employment or other service of any person at any time with or without cause or assigning a reason therefor.

Furthermore, no Award of any kind may be granted to an Eligible Person who is an employee of an Allied Enterprise unless the Committee can demonstrate legitimate business criteria for granting such Award.
