Small Business Enterprise definition

Small Business Enterprise means, as MCC 2-92-670 may be updated from time to time, a small business as defined by the U.S. Small Business Administration, pursuant to the business size standards found in 13 C.F.R. Part 121, relevant to the scope(s) of work the firm seeks to perform on city contracts. A firm is not an eligible small business enterprise in any city fiscal year in which its gross receipts, averaged over the firm's previous five fiscal years, exceed the size standards of 13 C.F.R. Part 121.
Small Business Enterprise means a for profit small business concern that is at least fifty one percent (51%) owned by one (1) or more individual(s) who are economically disadvantaged. “Economically Disadvantaged Individual” is defined in Appendix B-1, Definitions, in Notice of Requirements for Small Business Enterprise (SBE) Program.
Small Business Enterprise or “SBE” means a Business Enterprise that meets the established economic criteria for a SBE and is owned, operated and controlled by one or more persons who meet the economic criteria for SBE ownership established by the Director in the Regulations.

More Definitions of Small Business Enterprise

Small Business Enterprise. (SBE) means a business that has been certified by the office of small business development based on the requirements specified in s. 370- 25.
Small Business Enterprise is intended to mean a business concern which performs a commercially useful function, is not owned and controlled by individuals designated as minority, women, veterans, or physically-challenged, and where gross annual sales does not exceed $2,000,000.
