Alter the Character definition

Alter the Character means those activities which occur within or outside of freshwater wetlands which impact their natural character, functions and/or values. Such activities include but are not limited to the following:Excavating; draining; filling; placing trash, garbage, sewage, road runoff, drainage ditch effluents, earth, rock, borrow, gravel, sand, clay, peat, or other materials or effluents upon; diverting water flows into or out of; diking; damming; diverting; clearing; grading; constructing in; adding to or taking from or otherwise changing the character of any freshwater wetland as herein defined either individually or cumulatively.

Alter the Character means those activities which occur within or outside of freshwater wetlands, area(s) of land within fifty (50) feet, riverbanks, and flood plains, which impact their natural character, functions and/or values. Such activities include but are not limited to the following: Excavating; draining; filling; placing trash, garbage, sewage, road runoff, drainage ditch effluents, earth, rock, borrow, gravel, sand, clay, peat, or other materials or effluents upon; diverting water flows into or out of; diking; damming; diverting; clearing; grading; constructing in; adding to or taking from or otherwise changing the character of any freshwater wetland, area(s) of land within fifty (50) feet, riverbanks, and flood plains, as herein defined either individually or cumulatively.

Related to Alter the Character

  • Secured Party Designation Notice means a notice from any Lender or an Affiliate of a Lender substantially in the form of Exhibit H.

  • Sub-Lessee means a lease/license by a Lessee of part or all of leased space to another person.

  • Locational UCAP Seller means a Member that sells Locational UCAP.

  • Modify and “Modification” are defined in Section 2.20.1.

  • Material Documents has the meaning set forth in Section 5.23.

  • Divest means, with respect to a Distracting Product, the sale, exclusive license or other transfer by the applicable Party and its Affiliates of all of their development and commercialization rights with respect to such Distracting Product to a Third Party without the retention or reservation of any development or commercialization obligation, interest or participation rights (other than solely an economic interest or the right to enforce customary terms contained in the relevant agreements effectuating such transaction).

  • Procuring Entity/Purchaser means a Entity having administrative and financial powers to undertake Procurement of Goods, Works or Services using public funds, as specified in the PCC;

  • Discontinuance Notice means the written Notice sent by the Billing Party to the other Party that notifies the Non- Paying Party that in order to avoid disruption or disconnection of the Interconnection Services, furnished under this Agreement, the Non-Paying Party must remit all Unpaid Charges to the Billing Party within fifteen (15) calendar days following receipt of the Billing Party’s Notice of Unpaid Charges.

  • Model 4 seller means a seller that is registered under the agreement and is not a model 1 seller, model 2 seller, or model 3 seller.
