Alternate Resource definition

Alternate Resource means a generating resource (other than the Plant) for which Shell has an unencumbered first call right, which is connected to the Transmission System, either directly or through other transmission systems, and which in Gulf Power’s sole judgment is reasonably reliable to meet Gulf Power’s schedule.
Alternate Resource means a Respondent resource other than the proposed Resource which can provide the Services at a level equal to or greater than the proposed prequalified resource in order to mitigate service interruptions.

Examples of Alternate Resource in a sentence

  • Seller must deliver Energy from Alternate Resources to Purchaser at an unconstrained point on the Grid, and if Seller is making such delivery at a time when the Facility is unavailable, then Seller will purchase Firm Transmission Service for such delivery to the extent that such Firm Transmission Service is available for the Alternate Resource Energy from the point of its acquisition by Seller to the unconstrained point on the Grid.

  • To be valid, this notification shall include a written, irrevocable commitment by Seller to deliver Solar Energy from an Alternate Resource to the Point of Delivery for the duration of the Force Majeure Event.

  • alternate aerodrome means an aerodrome to which an aircraft may proceed when it becomes either impossible or inadvisable to proceed to or to land at the aerodrome of intended landing, where the necessary services and facilities are available, where aircraft performance requirements can be met and which is operational at the expected time of use. Alternate aerodromes include the following:

  • Enterprise Alternate Contract Source means a contract authorized pursuant to section 287.042(16), F.S., or approved pursuant to section 287.057(3)(b), F.S., for statewide use.

  • Alternate Recipient means any Child of a Participant who is recognized under a Medical Child Support Order as having a right to enrollment under this Plan as the Participant’s eligible Dependent. For purposes of the benefits provided under this Plan, an Alternate Recipient shall be treated as an eligible Dependent, but for purposes of the reporting and disclosure requirements under ERISA, an Alternate Recipient shall have the same status as a Participant.

  • Planned External Financed Generation Capacity Resource means a Planned External Generation Capacity Resource that, prior to August 7, 2015, has an effective agreement that is the equivalent of an Interconnection Service Agreement, has submitted to the Office of the Interconnection the appropriate certification attesting achievement of Financial Close, and has secured at least 50 percent of the MWs of firm transmission service required to qualify such resource under the deliverability requirements of the Reliability Assurance Agreement.

  • Base Load Generation Resource means a Generation Capacity Resource that operates at least 90 percent of the hours that it is available to operate, as determined by the Office of the Interconnection in accordance with the PJM Manuals.
