Health Care Authority or “HCA” means the Washington State Health Care Authority, any division, section, office, unit or other entity of HCA, or any of the officers or other officials lawfully representing HCA.
Insurance Authority means the Insurance Authority of Hong Kong established pursuant to section 4AAA of the Insurance Ordinance.
Ambulance means a registered road vehicle, boat or aircraft operated by an Ambulance Service Provider and equipped for the transport of persons requiring medical attention.
Fire authority means the department, agency, or public entity with responsibility
Pet Ambulance means a Pet medical transportation service vehicle equipped with stretchers, hydraulic tables, oxygen and a driver and/or veterinary technician.
Air ambulance means any aircraft specifically constructed, modified, or equipped and used for the primary purpose of responding to emergency calls and transporting critically ill or injured patients whose medical flight crew has at a minimum two attendants certified or licensed in advanced life support.
Water Authority means the body corporate known as the Water Authority of Western Australia established by the Water Authority Xxx 0000;
Sanitary sewer authority means the department, agency, or public entity with responsibility to review and approve the feasibility of sanitary sewer services or onsite wastewater systems.
market surveillance authority means an authority of a Member State responsible for carrying out market surveillance on its territory;
Indian tribe means any Indian tribe, band, group, pueblo, or community, including native villages and native groups (including corporations organized by Kenai, Juneau, Sitka, and Kodiak) as defined in the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (43 U.S.C.A. 1601 et seq.), that is recognized by the Federal Government as eligible for services from the Bureau of Indian Affairs in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 1452(c). This definition also includes Indian-owned economic enterprises that meet the requirements of 25 U.S.C. 1452(e).
Compliance Authority means each and all of the (a) U.S. Treasury Department/Office of Foreign Assets Control, (b) U.S. Treasury Department/Financial Crimes Enforcement Network, (c) U.S. State Department/Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, (d) U.S. Commerce Department/Bureau of Industry and Security, (e) the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, (f) the U.S. Justice Department, and (g) the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
Ambulatory means the condition of a person who immediately and without aid of another is physically or mentally capable of traveling a normal path to safety, including the ascent and descent of stairs.
Applicable Authority means (a) with respect to SOFR, the SOFR Administrator or any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the Administrative Agent or the SOFR Administrator with respect to its publication of SOFR, in each case acting in such capacity and (b) with respect to any Alternative Currency, the applicable administrator for the Relevant Rate for such Alternative Currency or any Governmental Authority having jurisdiction over the Administrative Agent or such administrator with respect to its publication of the applicable Relevant Rate, in each case acting in such capacity.
Armed forces of the United States means the army, navy, air force, coast guard, or marine corps of the United States or a reserve unit of one of those branches of the armed forces.
Nonambulatory means the condition of a person who immediately and without the aid of another person is not physically or mentally capable of traveling a normal path to safety, including the ascent and descent of stairs.
Ambulance provider means an emergency medical service provider that:
State authority means the hospital finance authority created by this act.
Local Mental Health Authority means a county legislative body.
United States central authority means the Secretary of the United States Department of Health and Human Services.
Housing authority means a housing authority created or
former Authority means the Water Authority of Western Australia under the Water Authority Act 1984 2 before the commencement of Part 2 of the Water Agencies Restructure (Transitional and Consequential Provisions) Act 1995 3;
Health Authority means the regional health board designated under the Health Authority Act, RSBC 1996, c.180, or the Provincial Health Services Authority, to which the Participant is designated under Schedule 1 (Return of Service Placement Process) of this Contract, unless designated otherwise by the Province;
Pharmacist services means products, goods, and services, or any combination of products, goods, and services, provided as a part of the practice of pharmacy.
Appropriate Authority means any government or taxing authority.
Public health authority means an agency or authority of the United States, a state, a territory, a political subdivision of a state or territory, an Indian tribe, or a foreign government, or a person or entity acting under a grant of authority from or contract with such public agency, including the employees or agents of such public agency or its contractors or persons or entities to whom it has granted authority, that is responsible for public health matters as part of its official mandate.
prescribed authority means the authorities specified in Rule 12 of Plastic Waste Management and Handling Rules, 2016, and Commissioner, Municipal Corporations, Chief Executive Officer/Executive Officer, Urban Local Bodies ;
