Applicable Legal Authorities definition

Applicable Legal Authorities means those federal and Illinois statutes and administrative rules, orders and regulations that govern the electric utility industry in Illinois. Asset Owner has the meaning ascribed to such term in the MISO Business Practices Manual for Energy Markets.

  • BGS-RSCP Supplier – an entity that has been selected through the BGS-RSCP solicitation and has accepted the obligations and associated rights to provide BGS-RSCP Supply to retail customers within the State of New Jersey in accordance with the Applicable Legal Authorities and has entered into this Agreement with the Company as a Party.

  • Governmental Authorities means any nation, government, province, state, or any entity, authority or body exercising executive, legislative, judicial, regulatory or administrative functions of or pertaining to government, including any government authority, agency, department, board, commission or instrumentality of any government or any political subdivision thereof, court, tribunal, arbitrator, the governing body of any securities exchange, and self-regulatory organization, in each case having competent jurisdiction (with each of such Governmental Authorities being referred to as a “Governmental Authority”).
