Asbestos abatement project definition

Asbestos abatement project means any activity involving persons working directly with the demolition, renovation, or encapsulation of friable asbestos materials.
Asbestos abatement project means any demolition, renovation, repair, construc- tion or maintenance activity of any public or private facility that involves the repair, en- closure, encapsulation, removal, salvage, handling or disposal of any material with the potential of releasing asbestos fibers from asbestos-containing material into the air.
