Associate of the Federal Government means• Any person or entity engaged or employed by or on behalf of the federal government (as an employee, contractor or subcontractor, grant recipient of subrecipient, agent, or otherwise).• Includes any applicant for such employment or engagement, and any person or entity committed by legal instrument to undertake any such work, project, or activity (or to provide such goods or services) in future. Associate of the Federal Government means any person or entity engaged or employed (in the past or at the present) by or on behalf of the federal government – as an employee, contractor or subcontractor (at any tier), grant recipient or – Authorized Official Initials: subgrantee (at any tier), agent, or otherwise – in undertaking any work, project, or activity for or on behalf of (or in providing goods or services to or on behalf of) the federal government, and includes any applicant for such employment or engagement, and any person or entity committed by legal instrument to undertake any such work project, or activity (or to provide such goods or services) in future.

  • Federal Government means the Federal Government of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

  • AT&T SOUTH CAROLINA means the AT&T owned ILEC doing business in South Carolina.

  • Armed forces of the United States means the army, navy, air force, coast guard, or marine corps of the United States or a reserve unit of one of those branches of the armed forces.

  • Foreign professional corporation means a professional corporation organized under laws other than the laws of this state.

  • Affiliated group of corporations means an affiliated group as defined in section 1504 of the Internal Revenue Code, except that, if such a group includes at least one incumbent local exchange carrier that is primarily engaged in the business of providing local exchange telephone service in this state, the affiliated group shall not include any incumbent local exchange carrier that would otherwise be included in the group.

  • Veteran-owned Small Business Enterprise (VSBE) means A business that is verified by the Center for Verification and Evaluation (CVE) of the United States Department of Veterans Affairs as a veteran-owned small business. See Code of Maryland Regulations (COMAR) 21.11.13.

  • Community air carrier means an air carrier with a valid operating licence granted by a Member State in accordance with Council Regulation (EEC) No 2407/92 of 23 July 1992 of licensing of air carriers(7) ;

  • Controlled Foreign Corporation means “controlled foreign corporation” as defined in the Tax Code.
