Joint Controller with the other Party;
Controller means the entity which determines the purposes and means of the Processing of Personal Data.
Australian Corporations Act means the Corporations Xxx 0000 (Cth) of Australia.
Australian Tax Act means the Income Tax Assessment Act 1936 (Cth) (Australia) or the Income Tax Assessment Act 1997 (Cth) (Australia), as applicable.
Chief Procurement Officer or "CPO" means the chief procurement officer of the City of Chicago or his or her designee.
Procurement Officer means the Buyer's contracting personnel, as identified in the Introductory Materials.
Australian Subsidiary means any Subsidiary that is organized under the laws of Australia or any province or territory thereof.
Auditor-Controller means the Auditor-Controller, County of Orange, or designee, or upon written notice to Tenant, such other person as may be designated by the Board of Supervisors.
Assistant Finance Director means the Assistant Finance Director or designee.
Procurement Office means Metrolinx Procurement Services office located at 277 Front Street West, 4th Floor, Mail Room, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, M5V 2X4.
Joint Controllers means where two or more Controllers jointly determine the purposes and means of processing.
Chief Administrative Officer or “CAO” means the administrative head of a municipality as appointed by Council under clause 86(2)(c) of the Municipal Government Act.
Certified peace officer means a peace officer certified by the
Chief Pretrial Services Officer (i.e., CPSO) means the individual appointed by the court to supervise the work of the court’s pretrial services staff. For the purpose of the contract, the “Chief Probation Officer” acts as the contract administrator on behalf of the Director of the Administrative Office of the United States Courts.
Data Controller shall have the same meaning as set out in the Data Protection Act 1998;
Australian Consumer Law means Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
Indian country means (i) all land within the limits of any Indian reservation under the jurisdiction of the United States government, notwithstanding the issuance of any patent, and including rights-of-way running through the reservation; (ii) all dependent Indian communities with the borders of the United States whether within the originally or subsequently acquired territory thereof, and whether within or without the limits of a state; and (iii) all Indian allotments, the Indian titles to which have not been extinguished, including rights-of-way running through the same.
