Backflow Protection definition

Backflow Protection. Means of protection against backflow shall be provided in accordance with Sections 608.13.1 through 608.13.9.

  • Cathodic protection means a technique designed to prevent the corrosion of a metal surface by making that surface the cathode of an electrochemical cell. For example, protection can be accomplished with an impressed current system or a galvanic anode system.
