Backstopped Letter of Credit definition

Backstopped Letter of Credit as defined in Section 2.3(a).
Backstopped Letter of Credit has the meaning specified in Section 2.04(b).
Backstopped Letter of Credit means a letter of credit identified in Schedule VI (a) issued for account of an Account Party, (b) as to which the issuer thereof has become the beneficiary of a Letter of Credit issued hereunder under which such beneficiary is entitled to draw in an amount equal to any drawing under such identified letter of credit and (c) as to which, if the reimbursement obligations thereunder were originally secured, such beneficiary terminates any Lien securing such reimbursement obligations upon its receipt of such Letter of Credit.

More Definitions of Backstopped Letter of Credit

Backstopped Letter of Credit means any Letter of Credit the obligations of the applicable Borrower (and any other account party thereunder) in respect of which shall have been (a) collateralized in full by a deposit of cash with the applicable Issuing Bank or (b) supported by a letter of credit issued by a commercial bank that names the applicable Issuing Bank as the beneficiary thereunder, in each case in a manner reasonably satisfactory to such Issuing Bank. No Letter of Credit shall be deemed to be a Backstopped Letter of Credit unless the Issuing Bank that is the issuer of such Letter of Credit shall have provided to the Administrative Agent a written consent thereto.

  • Letter of Credit Agreements means all letter of credit applications and other agreements (including any amendments, modifications or supplements thereto) submitted by the Borrower, or entered into by the Borrower, with the Issuing Bank relating to any Letter of Credit.
