Basic local service definition

Basic local service means all residential and business telecommunications voice and/or relay service which meets the standards set forth in 165:55-13-10, including lines beyond the first line into a residence or business.
Basic local service means access to the Public Switched Telephone Network via a single, voice-grade communications channel.
Basic local service means the level of service at which a residential customer has exchange ser- vice or, if available, extended area service, and not the ability to access the toll network.
