BE ON TIME. Attend school regularly. • Be on time to school and lessons. As the parent/ carer, I/we agree to: Learning • Ensure that my child attends school in the correct uniform, arrives on time and is properly equipped. • Encourage my child to work hard and support them by checking and signing the Link Book each week. • Discuss my child’s schoolwork and homework with them every day. • Alert the school of any special circumstances which may affect my child’s learning. • Adhere to the school’s PHSE curriculum. • Allow my child to attend off-site visits. • Encourage my child to participate in extra-curricular activities. • Attend consultation evenings and discussions about my child’s progress. • Work in partnership with the school to promote the highest standards of behaviour for my child. Communication/General • Inform the school of any changes to our contact details including address and phone numbers. • Write a note in my child’s Link Book to explain any absence from school. • Set the highest possible standards for attendance e.g., not request that my child goes on holiday during term time. • Avoid giving my child money to bring to school. • Support the school’s Healthy Eating Policy by either providing healthy packed lunches or ensuring that my child uses the school’s cashless canteen. • Not communicate with my child directly during the school day, via mobile phone. • Regularly check the Satchel One app and the ▇▇▇▇ Parent App, to monitor my child and support the school. The School agrees to: Teaching and Learning • Have the highest possible expectations for all our students. • Make lessons relevant and accessible to all our students. • Explain, as often as possible, what students need to do to improve their work. • Regularly assess the standard each student has reached and assess the progress each student has made. • Keep parents/carers and students informed about standards and progress on a regular basis. • Keep the child in detention when necessary.   • Maximum Run Time means the maximum number of hours a generating unit can run over the course of an Operating Day, as measured by PJM’s State Estimator.
