Benches definition

Benches or “shelves” shall mean flat areas which could be used as a building site which are otherwise surrounded by slopes of fifteen percent or greater.

  • Stack means any point in a source designed to emit solids, liquids, or gases into the air, including a pipe or duct but not including flares.

  • Connector means a flanged, screwed, welded, or other joined fitting used to connect two pipelines or a pipeline and a piece of process equipment.

  • Lightweight means the displacement of a ship in metric tons without cargo, fuel, lubricating oil, ballast water, fresh water and feed water in tanks, consumable stores, and passengers and crew and their effects.

  • Waterproofer means a product designed and labeled exclusively to repel water from fabric or leather substrates. Waterproofer does not include fabric protectants.

  • Watertight means capable of preventing the passage of water through the structure in any direction under a head of water for which the surrounding structure is designed.

  • Fiber means a glass strand or strands which is/are protected by a color coded buffer tube and which is/are used to transmit a communication signal along the glass strand in the form of pulses of light.

  • Junk yard means any property utilized for breaking up, dismantling, sorting, storing, distributing, buying or selling of any scrap waste material, junk or used equipment or machinery of any nature.
