  • Sabotage means deliberate damage, with malevolent intent, to a Category 1 or Category 2 quantity of radioactive material, a device that contains a Category 1 or Category 2 quantity of radioactive material, or the components of the security system.

  • Crisis means a situation in which a student engages in a behavior that threatens the health and safety of the student or others and includes without limitation a situation in which the student becomes aggressive or violent at school and is unable to regain self-control without posing a danger of injury to himself or herself or others.

  • Pandemic means a form of an epidemic that extends throughout an entire continent or even the entire human race.

  • Severe Disruption Event means any event specified as such in the Final Terms.

  • Barrier Event means that R (final) is lower than the Barrier.

  • Serious emotional disturbance means a diagnosable mental, behavioral, or emotional disorder affecting a minor that exists or has existed during the past year for a period of time sufficient to meet diagnostic criteria specified in the most recent Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders published by the American Psychiatric Association and approved by the department and that has resulted in functional impairment that substantially interferes with or limits the minor's role or functioning in family, school, or community activities. The following disorders are included only if they occur in conjunction with another diagnosable serious emotional disturbance:

  • Security Event means an immediately reportable subset of security incidents which incident would include:

  • Imminent danger means an existing dangerous situation that could reasonably be expected to immediately cause death or serious physical harm.

  • Force Majeure Events means acts of war, domestic and/or international terrorism, civil riots or rebellions, quarantines, embargoes and other similar unusual governmental actions, extraordinary elements of nature or acts of God.

  • Relief Event has the meaning set forth in Section 3.12.

  • Autism spectrum disorder means a neuro-developmental condition typically appearing in the first three years of life that significantly affects a person's ability to communicate, understand relationships and relate to others, and is frequently associated with unusual or stereotypical rituals or behaviours.

  • Occurrence means an accident, including continuous or repeated exposure to substantially the same general harmful conditions.

  • Nationalization means, in respect of a Share, that all such Shares or all the assets or substantially all the assets of the applicable Company are nationalized, expropriated or are otherwise required to be transferred to any governmental agency, authority or entity.

  • Co-occurring disorder (COD) means any combination of mental health symptoms and substance use disorder symptoms or diagnoses that affect a consumer and are typically determined by the current Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders.

  • Force Majeure Event means an event beyond the affected party’s reasonable control, including (without limitation) accidents, severe weather events, acts of God, actions of any government agency, epidemic, pandemic, acts of terrorism, or the stability or availability of the Internet or a portion thereof.

  • Flip-in Event means a transaction in or pursuant to which any Person becomes an Acquiring Person;

  • Event shall have the meaning set forth in Section 2(d).

  • Family violence means conduct as defined by S.7 of the Family Violence Act 2004.

  • Waterborne disease outbreak means the significant occurrence of an acute infectious illness, epidemiologically associated with the ingestion of water from a public water system which is deficient in treatment, as determined by the Division.
