Central fill pharmacy definition

Central fill pharmacy means a pharmacy contracting with an originating pharmacy, or having the same owner as an originating phar- macy, that provides centralized prescription filling on behalf of the originating pharmacy pursuant to these rules.
Central fill pharmacy means a pharmacy licensed in this state acting as an agent of an originating pharmacy to fill or refill a prescription.
Central fill pharmacy means a pharmacy or central filling operation licensed as a terminal distributor of dangerous drugs acting as an agent of or under contract with an originating pharmacy to fill or refill a prescription. Central fill pharmacy means a permitted pharmacy facility that, upon the request of an originating pharmacy, fills a prescription drug order and returns the filled prescription to the originating pharmacy for delivery to the patient or patient’s agent. A central fill pharmacy that returns filled prescriptions to an originating pharmacy must not be required to obtain a wholesaler/distributor permit.
