Certified building safety inspector definition

Certified building safety inspector means a person who has been certified pursuant to this Part [as having successfully completed the applicable basic training program described in section 1208-3.2(b) of this Part] and whose certification has not been revoked or become inactive.(d) Certified code enforcement official means a person who has been certified pursuant to this Part [as having successfully completed the applicable basic training program described in section 1208-3.2(c) of this Part] and whose certification has not been revoked or become inactive. Subdivisions (b) and (c) of section 1208-2.1 of Subpart 1208-2 of Title 19 of the NYCRR are amended to read as follows:(b) To satisfy the minimum training requirements for a person who performs building safety inspector enforcement activities, a person must be certified as a building safety inspector pursuant to section 1208-3.1[or], section 1208-5.4, or section 1208-5.5 of this Part, and mustmaintain such certification in the manner specified in section 1208-3.1 of this Part. (c) To satisfy the minimum training requirements for a person who performs code enforcement official enforcement activities, a person must be certified as a code enforcement official pursuant to section 1208-3.1[or], section 1208-5.4, or section 1208-5.5 of this Part, andmust maintain such certification in the manner specified in section 1208-3.1 of this Part.Subdivision (a) of section 1208-2.2 of Subpart 1208-2 of Title 19 of the NYCRR is amended to read as follows:

  • Building Inspector means a person licensed to carry out completed residential building inspections under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Regulations 2003;

  • Electrical Inspector means a person appointed as such by the Appropriate Government under sub-section (1) of Section 162 of the Electricity Xxx 0000 and also includes Chief Electrical Inspector;

  • Installation inspector means a person who, by reason of his knowledge of the physical sciences and the principles of engineering, acquired by a professional education and related practical experience, is qualified to supervise the installation of tank systems.

  • Covered Building Service Contract means a contract or subcontract to provide Building Services to the City of Cambridge or any of its departments or subdivisions.

  • building society means a building society registered under the Building Societies Act (Cap. 489);

  • labour inspector means a person appointed in terms of section 65 of the Basic Conditions of Employment Act;

  • construction site means a workplace where construction work is being performed;

  • Building Square Footage or "BSF" means the square footage of assessable internal living space of a Unit, exclusive of any carports, walkways, garages, overhangs, patios, enclosed patios, detached accessory structure, other structures not used as living space, or any other square footage excluded under Government Code Section 65995 as determined by reference to the Building Permit for such Unit.

  • Special inspector means an inspector holding a Washington commission identified under RCW 70.79.130.

  • Containment building means a hazardous waste management unit that is used to store or treat hazardous waste pursuant to the provisions of Subpart DD of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 724 and Subpart DD of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 725.

  • Building site means a plot of land held for building purposes, whether any building is actually erected thereupon or not, and includes the open ground or courtyard enclosed by, or adjacent to, any building erected thereupon;

  • Base Building shall include the structural portions of the Building, the public restrooms and the Building mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and equipment located in the internal core of the Building on the floor or floors on which the Premises are located.   • Environmental Assessment Act means the Environmental Assessment Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.E.18.

  • Building Project means the aggregate combined parcel of land on a portion of which are the improvements of which the Premises form a part, with all the improvements thereon, said improvements being a part of the block and lot for tax purposes which are applicable to the aforesaid land.
