Circuit Breaker means a device, capable of making and breaking the circuit under all conditions, and unless otherwise specified, so designed as to break the current automatically under abnormal conditions;
Circuit means an analogue voice-grade or digital 64 Kbps (DS-0) channel.
Node means an area designated by the State Planning Commission concentrating facilities and activities which are not organized in a compact form.
Synchronous interaction means a real-time interaction between a patient and a health care provider for telehealth located at a distant site.
Electrical circuit means an assembly of connected high voltage live parts which is designed to be electrically energized in normal operation.
Router means a modem or router provided by us for use by you in connection with the Broadband Service.
Module means specific portion of the Application Software designated as such in the Documentation made available to the Customer under the Notification Form.

Network Interface Device or "NID" is a Network Element (including all of its features, functions and capabilities) that includes any means of Interconnection of End User Customer premises wiring to Qwest's distribution plant, such as a cross connect device used for that purpose. "New Service Provider" means the Party to which an End User Customer switches its local Exchange Service or the Party to which an End User Customer is porting its telephone number(s).
Digital Signal Level 0 (DS-0 means the lowest-level signal in the time division multiplex digital hierarchy, and represents a voice-grade channel operating at either the 56 Kbps or 64 Kbps transmission bit rates. There are twenty-four (24) DS-0 channels in a DS-1.
Network plan means a policy of group health insurance offered by an insurer under which the financing and delivery of medical care, including items and services paid for as medical care, are provided, in whole or in part, through a defined set of providers under contract with the insurer. The term does not include an arrangement for the financing of premiums.
Query means a message that represents a request to a Database for information.

SPID is the number that identifies a service provider to the relevant NPAC. The SPID may be a state-specific number. "Serving Wire Center" denotes the CenturyLink building from which dial tone for local Exchange Service would normally be provided to a particular End User Customer premises. User Interface means the interface for the Hosted Services designed to allow individual human users to access and use the Hosted Services.
Interface means the mixture occurring in pipeline operations between adjoining batches having similar or dissimilar physical characteristics.
