Climate Change Levy definition

Climate Change Levy or “CCL” means the tax referred to in schedule 6 of the Finance Act 2000;
Climate Change Levy means any tax, duty, levy or impost imposed by reference to energy value and/or carbon content;
Climate Change Levy means as set out and defined in the Finance Act 2000 and all and any subsequent amending legislation from time to time;

  • Levy Exemption Certificates (LECs) is the Electricity produced from designated renewable sources that is exempt from the Climate Change Levy and is entitled to Levy Exemption Certificates.
