Comfort care definition

Comfort care means medical services or items that give comfort or pain relief to an individual who has a terminal Illness, including the combination of medical and related services designed to make it possible for an individual with terminal Illness to die with dignity and respect and with as much comfort as is possible given the nature of the illness.
