DIGNITY AND RESPECT. In an effort to promote an effective partnership relationship, the parties agree that they will treat their respective representatives with dignity and respect, and that employees and supervisors and other members of management will all treat each other with dignity and respect. Neither Addus nor the Union will publish newsletter articles or distribute other communication that is disparaging of the other party without first having made an effort to resolve the issue with management. Such disparagement would include information relating to specific individuals of the Company or the Union, issues that would be readily addressed when called to the attention of upper management of the Company or the Union, and are overall contrary to the spirit of cooperation and partnership as represented by this agreement. It is also an expectation that this spirit of cooperation will exist in all interpersonal communication. This article is not intended to restrict the ability of the Company or Union to communicate with the employees or members related to business differences or disagreements between the Company and Union. The Company agrees as part of employee orientation to inform all administrative personnel that participation in anti-union campaigns among Union or non-Union personnel and the dissemination of information discouraging union membership is against Company policy and subject to disciplinary action. The Union agrees as part of orientation of union staff to inform all union personnel that participation in anti-Company campaigns among Union or non-Union personnel and the dissemination of information negative to the Company is against Union policy and subject to disciplinary action.

DIGNITY AND RESPECT. The Union and the Employer (including all managers, supervisors and employees) agree: That ethical and fair treatment of one another is an integral part of providing high quality resident care. To treat one another, regardless of position or profession, with dignity and respect. To exhibit a personal, caring attitude toward each person and do so in ways that ensure courtesy, compassion, kindness and honesty. The Union and the Employer shall be responsible for improving communications among all levels and shall be accountable for modeling and implementing the commitments of this section.
DIGNITY AND RESPECT. All Employees of the Employer are entitled to be treated with dignity and respect.
DIGNITY AND RESPECT. The County and the Union agree to promote a professional working atmosphere. Employees who believe they have been subjected to unprofessional or inappropriate treatment by a supervisor or co-worker may raise their concern regarding said treatment with the manager of Labor Relations who will investigate the complaint and advise the employee of any action taken which has been deemed necessary and appropriate under the circumstances.
DIGNITY AND RESPECT. The Union and the Employer jointly recognize and embrace their common goal of providing quality long term care to the residents in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. The Union and Employer agree to strive to meet the philosophy of caring for all residents and their families, and all employees and their communities. The Employer and Union commit to work together to provide excellence in service, to treat all residents, their family members, and all employees with dignity and respect at all times.
DIGNITY AND RESPECT. The Employer and the Union will recognize and respect each other’s dignity and the dignity of all employees.
DIGNITY AND RESPECT. All Bargaining Unit Employees, Management, Staff as well as the children, families and visitors are to be treated with dignity and mutual respect at all times. This Article cannot be used for the basis of Arbitration under Article 15.3.
DIGNITY AND RESPECT. In administering this Agreement and founded on universal values of human dignity, the Company and Union shall act reasonably, fairly, in good faith, and in a manner consistent with the Collective Agreement as a whole. All parties to this Agreement further agree to treat each other with dignity and respect.
DIGNITY AND RESPECT. Library Services administration and the Union agree to act at all times in such a manner as to assure dignity and respect to all employees of Library Services and members of the Brandeis community who are served by Library Services.
