Common Equity Tier 1 instruments definition

Common Equity Tier 1 instruments means capital instruments that meet the conditions laid down in Article 28(1) to (4), Article 29(1) to (5) or Article 31(1) of Regulation (EU) No 575/2013;
Common Equity Tier 1 instruments means instruments qualifying as CET1 Capital.
Common Equity Tier 1 instruments means capital instruments that qualify as own funds in accordance with Article 57(a) of Directive 2006/48/EC;

Examples of Common Equity Tier 1 instruments in a sentence

  • CET 1 Instruments means any (directly or indirectly issued) capital instruments of the Issuer that qualify (or would qualify if the Issuer was subject to the CRR) as Common Equity Tier 1 instruments pursuant to Article 28 of the CRR, including any capital instruments that qualify as Common Equity Tier 1 instruments pursuant to transitional provisions under the CRR.
