Common Safekeeper definition

Common Safekeeper means an ICSD in its capacity as common safekeeper or a person nominated by the ICSDs to perform the role of common safekeeper;
Common Safekeeper means, in relation to a Series of ETP Securities issued in NGN or NSS form, the common safekeeper for Euroclear or Clearstream, Luxembourg appointed in respect of such Series.
Common Safekeeper means, in relation to a Series where the relevant Global Note is an NGN or the relevant Global Certificate is held under the NSS, the common safekeeper for Euroclear and/or Clearstream, Luxembourg appointed in respect of such Notes;

Examples of Common Safekeeper in a sentence

  • In the case of an NGN Temporary Global Note or an NGN Permanent Global Note which has been destroyed by the Common Safekeeper, the Replacement Agent shall furnish the Issuer, upon written request, with a copy of the confirmation of destruction received by it from the Common Safekeeper.

  • The Issue and Paying Agent shall authenticate and deliver such Permanent Global Note in accordance with the terms hereof and of the relevant Temporary Global Note and, in the case of an NGN Permanent Global Note, instruct the Common Safekeeper to effectuate the Permanent Global Note.
