Connected Scheme definition

Connected Scheme means another statutory pension scheme that is connected, within the meaning of section 4(6) of the Act, with this scheme;

Examples of Connected Scheme in a sentence

  • The transfer of any Employee from one to another of the Employers shall not be construed as a termination of his Service; and (b) any period which counts in respect of any Associated Employment or any Connected Scheme.

  • A Member are further restricted to ensure that his total retirement benefit from this scheme and from any Associated Scheme or Connected Scheme does not exceed a pension of 1/30th of the Permitted Maximum for each year of service, subject to a maximum of 20/30ths.

  • For the purpose of this limit, service is the aggregate of Service and any period of service which gives rise to benefits under a Connected Scheme provided that no period is to be counted more than once.


More Definitions of Connected Scheme

Connected Scheme means any Relevant Scheme which is connected with the Scheme in relation to the Member by reason of the fact that:-

Control has the meaning in section 840 of the Taxes Act, or in the case of a close company, section 416 of the Taxes Act.
Connected Scheme. , in relation to this scheme, means another statutory pension scheme that is connected, within the meaning of section 4(6) of the 2013 Act, with this scheme;
