Related to Controlling Architect

  • Architect means the person or other entity engaged by the PHA to perform architectural, engineering, design, and other services related to the work as provided for in the contract. When a PHA uses an engineer to act in this capacity, the terms “architect” and “engineer” shall be synonymous. The Architect shall serve as a technical representative of the Contracting Officer. The Architect’s authority is as set forth elsewhere in this contract.

  • Project Architect means the professional architect or engineer employed by the Owner as architect or engineer of record for the Project and its consultants.

  • Professional Engineer or Professional Certificated Engineer means a person holding registration as either a Professional Engineer or Professional Certificated Engineer in terms of the Engineering Profession Act, 2000 (Act No. 46 of 2000);

  • Registered professional engineer means a person who is registered as a professional engineer pursuant to s. 443.04, Stats.

  • Engineer’s Representative means the official in the civil/ electrical engineering department who is authorized to be in-charge of the work to which these presents relate. It shall include any other official nominated to attend to the supervision of day to day execution of the work to which this CONTRACT relates.

  • Architect or Engineer means an individual, firm, partnership, association, properly qualified person or the legally authorized representative(s), designated by the Owner, experienced in and legally qualified to practice the profession involved for the administration of the contract, inspections and testing.
