Covered illness means clear, visible, identifiable internal or external symptoms of bodily injury, illness or death of a “student” caused by any of the following:
Covered illness means illness suffered by a Covered Member occurring more than ninety (90) days after the Issue Date or Commencement Date, whichever is later, of this Policy. For this purpose, an illness has occurred when it has been investigated, diagnosed or treated or when signs or symptoms of it have manifested which would cause an ordinary prudent person to seek diagnosis, care or treatment. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy of opinions relating to the signs or symptoms of an illness and their manifestation between a Physician or Registered Medical Practitioner and the Covered Member, We will adopt and follow the Physician or Registered Medical Practitioner's professional opinion. In case We are not satisfied with such opinion We reserve the right to seek an additional opinion from Our panel of doctors and their opinion will be binding.
