Daily Capacity definition

Daily Capacity. Overrun: quantity of energy, expressed in MWh (GCV). For each Daily Delivery Capacity at a Consumer Delivery Point or at a Regional Network Interconnection Point specified in Appendix 2, the difference, if positive, between the Daily Quantity Delivered on any Day and the corresponding Daily Delivery Capacity, shall constitute an Overrun of a Daily Delivery Capacity. The calculation rules for overruns are defined in the Sub-clause entitled “Price Supplement related to a Daily Capacity Overrun” in Section C. Daily Imbalance (referred to as EBJ): quantity of energy, expressed in MWh (GCV 25°C), as defined in the Clause entitled “Daily Imbalances” in Section D2. Daily Imbalance Deficit (referred to as DEBJ): quantity of energy, expressed in MWh (GCV 25°C), as defined in the Sub-clause entitled “Calculating Daily Imbalances” in Section D2. Daily Imbalance Excess (referred to as EXBJ): quantity of energy, expressed in MWh (GCV 25°C), as defined in the Clause entitled “Calculating Daily Imbalances” in Section D2.
Daily Capacity means Firm Capacity which is allocated to a Shipper for a duration of one Day in accordance with Section 1.5.
Daily Capacity means Firm Capacity which is allocated to a Shipper for a duration of one Day in accordance with Section 1.5. (b)(c) "Firm Capacity" means the firm capacity of any duration (including a duration of one Day), comprising MDQ and MHQ, which has been booked and allocated to a Shipper in respect of an Exit Point as set out in a Firm Capacity Notice and as may be varied in accordance with the provisions of this Code and shall where the context so requires include capacity reserved pursuant to the Transportation Agreement and therein referred to as Reserved Capacity;

Examples of Daily Capacity in a sentence

  • Daily Capacity Deficiency Rate is as defined in Schedule 11 of the Reliability Assurance Agreement.

  • The Shipper can exchange Daily Capacity with other shipper(s) operating on GRTgaz’s Network by transferring the associated right-of-use in the form of a transfer of right-of-use.

  • The Shipper may also exchange Daily Capacity by transferring any and all rights and obligations in the form of a full transfer of the capacity concerned.

  • The Shipper that initially held the capacity remains liable towards GRTgaz, under the Contract for all the obligations concerning the capacity for which the right-of-use is transferred, in particular the obligation to pay for the Allocated Capacity and for the potential Hourly and Daily Capacity Overruns and for Daily Transmission Capacity Overruns on the Regional Network as set out in Clause 10.

  • For any Daily Exit Capacity Overrun on the Main Network, or Daily Transmission Capacity Overrun on the Regional Network or Daily Delivery Capacity Overrun in excess of ten per cent (10%) of the said Daily Capacity, a Price Supplement related to the Daily Capacity Overrun shall be due by the Shipper, calculated as follows: CPDCJ = PUQCJ x ((0.07 x CJ) x 20 + (DCJ – 0.10 x CJ) x 40) where CPDCJ, PUQCJ, DCJ and CJ have the same definitions as above.

  • Daily Capacity Available for Withdrawal: daily Withdrawal Capacity actually available at the Transport/Storage Interface Point after taking Special Situations into account.

  • Daily Capacity Available for Injection: daily Injection Capacity actually available at the Transport/Storage Interface Point after taking Special Situations into account.


More Definitions of Daily Capacity

Daily Capacity means an amount equal to the Installed Capacity (“ICAP”), or percentage of ICAP (if only a portion of a resource is the Capacity Source), from the Capacity Source that must be offered by Seller into the MISO Day-Ahead Market pursuant to the MISO Documents. Seller acknowledges and accepts Buyer’s designation of the Capacity Source with the MISO, in accordance with Section 69 of the TEMT, as a Planning Resource and agrees to take all reasonably necessary action (either directly or through contract rights) required to effectuate such designation by Buyer. Seller also acknowledges and accepts responsibility to comply (either directly or through contract rights) with all applicable requirements of the MISO Documents pertaining to such designation, including, but not limited to, the requirement for Seller to cause the Capacity Source to be offered into the MISO Day-Ahead Energy Market and the first Reliability Assessment Commitment in an amount necessary to provide the Contract Quantity in a manner consistent with the obligations of a Planning Resource under Section 69 of the TEMT. Seller warrants, throughout the Term and with respect to each Transaction, that: (i) the Capacity Source satisfies the definition of Planning Resource, as such term is defined in the TEMT; and (ii) the Contract Quantity of the Capacity Source has been deemed certified deliverable by the MISO in accordance with section 69 of the TEMT, as evidenced by the results of the most recent deliverability test conducted by the MISO for which the results thereof are available on the MISO website at the following address: xxxx://xxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx/publish/Document/1d6630_11a6da4545e_-7f310a48324a/Deliverability_Test_Results.xls?action=download&_property=Attachment Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Confirmation Agreement or otherwise, in no event will Buyer have any right to dispatch the Capacity Source, nor will Buyer be entitled to any of the Energy or other Products (other than Capacity) associated with the Capacity Source (including, for avoidance of doubt, any revenues associated with the Energy or other Products or Ancillary Services).   • Maximum Capacity or ‘Pmax’ means the maximum continuous active power which a power-generating module can produce, less any demand associated solely with facilitating the operation of that power-generating module and not fed into the network as specified in the connection agreement or as agreed between the relevant system operator and the power-generating facility owner;

  • New Capacity means a new Generator, a substantial addition to the capacity of an existing Generator, or the reactivation of all or a portion of a Generator that has been out of service for five years or more that commences commercial service after the effective date of this definition. For purposes of Section 23.4.5 of this Attachment H, “Offer Floor” for a Mitigated Capacity Zone Installed Capacity Supplier that is not a Special Case Resource shall mean the lesser of (i) a numerical value equal to 75% of the Mitigation Net CONE translated into a seasonally adjusted monthly UCAP value (“Mitigation Net CONE Offer Floor”), or (ii) the numerical value that is the first year value of the Unit Net CONE determined as specified in Section 23.4.5.7, translated into a seasonally adjusted monthly UCAP value using an appropriate class outage rate, (“Unit Net CONE Offer Floor”). The Offer Floor for a Mitigated Capacity Zone Installed Capacity Supplier that is a Special Case Resource shall mean a numerical value determined as specified in Section 23.4.5.7.5. The Offer Floor for Additional CRIS MW shall mean a numerical value determined as specified in Section 23.4.5.7.6. For the purposes of Section 23.4.5 of this Attachment H, “Non-Qualifying Entry Sponsors” shall mean a Transmission Owner, Public Power Entity, or any other entity with a Transmission District in the NYCA, or an agency or instrumentality of New York State or a political subdivision thereof.

  • Contract Capacity has the meaning set forth in Section 3.1(f).

  • Nominal Capacity means the volume indicated by the manufacturer that represents the maximum recommended filling level.

  • Bid Capacity meanss capacity offered by the bidder in his Bid under invitation.

  • System Capacity means the operational capacity of the System at any applicable point in time.

  • Idle capacity means the unused capacity of partially used facilities. It is the difference between: (a) that which a facility could achieve under 100 percent operating time on a one-shift basis less operating interruptions resulting from time lost for repairs, setups, unsatisfactory materials, and other normal delays; and (b) the extent to which the facility was actually used to meet demands during the accounting period. A multi-shift basis should be used if it can be shown that this amount of usage would normally be expected for the type of facility involved.

  • Committed Capacity means that portion of the Capacity that is required to meet the Capacity Entitlements of Access Holders;

  • Storage Capacity means any combination of space, injectability and deliverability.

  • Rated Capacity means the Average Daily Flow for which the Works are approved to handle;

  • Project Capacity means the AC capacity of the project at the generating terminal(s) and to be contracted with MSEDCL for supply from the Solar Power Project.

  • Available Capacity means the capacity from the Project, expressed in whole megawatts, that is available to generate Product. [For As-Available Product facilities only]

  • Contracted Capacity means the capacity (in MW AC) contracted with MSEDCL for supply by the successful bidder at the Delivery Point from the Solar Power Project.

  • Nameplate capacity means the maximum electrical generating output (in MWe) that a generator can sustain over a specified period of time when not restricted by seasonal or other deratings as measured in accordance with the United States Department of Energy standards.

  • Design capacity means the volume of a containment feature at a discharging facility that accommodates all permitted flows and meets all Aquifer Protection Permit conditions, including allowances for appropriate peaking and safety factors to ensure sustained, reliable operation.

  • Technical Capacity means the maximum firm capacity that the transmission system operator can offer to the network users, taking account of system integrity and the operational requirements of the transmission network;

  • Licensed capacity means the number of children the Department has determined the day care home can care for at any one time in addition to any children living in the home who are under the age of 12 years. Children age 12 and over on the premises are not considered in determining licensed capacity.

  • Daily Unforced Capacity Obligation means the capacity obligation of a Load Serving Entity during the Delivery Year, determined in accordance with Reliability Assurance Agreement, Schedule 8, or, as to an FRR entity, in Reliability Assurance Agreement, Schedule 8.1.
