Data Recipients means third parties accessing or using the Brand Owner Data, either directly or indirectly, in or through the Verified by GS1 Services, Webservice, API, including retailers, internet application providers and governmental organisations, subject to the acceptance of the GS1 South Africa Terms of Use.

• You authorize the Company or its Affiliates, as well as the Data Recipients, to receive, possess, use, retain, and transfer Data in electronic or other form, for the purposes of implementing, administering, and managing your participation in the Plan, including any transfer of such Data, as may be required for the administration of the Plan and/or the subsequent holding of Shares on your behalf, to a broker or third party with whom the Shares may be deposited.

• You understand that the Company or its Affiliates, as well as the Data Recipients, are or may be located in your country of residence or elsewhere, such as the United States.

• Participant understands that some of these Data Recipients may be located outside the Participant’s country of residence, and that the Data Recipient’s country may have different data privacy laws and protections than the Participant’s country of residence.

• Awardee understands that, if Awardee resides outside the United States, Awardee may request a list with the names and addresses of Data Recipients by contacting in writing Awardee’s local human resources representative.

• In keeping therewith, you hereby further authorize any Data Recipient, including Data Recipients located in foreign jurisdictions, to continue to make Use of the Data, in electronic or other form, for the purposes of administering and managing the Plan, including without limitation, any necessary Use of such Data as may be required for the subsequent holding of shares on your behalf by a broker or other third party with whom you may elect to deposit any shares acquired through the Plan.

• Awardee authorizes the Data Recipients to receive, possess, use, retain, and transfer Data, in electronic or other form, for the purposes of implementing, administering, and managing Awardee’s participation in the Plan.

• Awardee understands that the Data Recipients may be located in Awardee’s country or elsewhere, including outside the European Economic Area, and that the Data Recipient’s country (e.g., the United States) may have different data privacy laws and protections.

• The Participant authorizes the Employer, the Company, its subsidiaries, and such Data Recipients to receive, possess, use, retain, and transfer Data in electronic or other form to implement, administer, and manage his or her participation in the Plan, including any transfer of Data that the Administrator deems appropriate for the administration of the Plan and any transfer of Shares on his or her behalf to a broker or third party with whom the Shares may be deposited.

• Optionee understands that these Data Recipients may be located in Optionee’s country of residence, the European Economic Area, and in countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States.

• Optionee authorizes the Data Recipients to receive, possess, use, retain and transfer Data in electronic or other form, for the purposes of implementing, administering and managing the Plan, including any transfer of such Data, as may be necessary or appropriate for the administration of the Plan and/or the subsequent holding of shares of stock on Optionee’s behalf, to a broker or third party with whom the shares acquired on exercise may be deposited.

Data Recipients means third parties assisting the Company in the implementation, administration and management of the Plan.
