Day of Hospital Confinement definition

Day of Hospital Confinement means a day, during which the Insured Person is admitted in a Hospital and registered as a Resident Inpatient and continuously stay in a Hospital for receiving regular care and attendance of a Physician for the purpose of treatment of Bodily Injury or Sickness sustained by the Insured Person. Hospital Confinement shall be evidenced by a daily room and board charge invoiced by the Hospital. Hospital Confinement shall be construed accordingly.
Day of Hospital Confinement means a period of twenty-four (24) hours or less for which the hospital makes a full daily room and board charge.
Day of Hospital Confinement means each continuous 24-hour period that an Insured Person is confined as a patient in Hospital for a minimum of 24 hours and for which room and board fee is charged to the Insured Person.

Examples of Day of Hospital Confinement in a sentence

  • The Day of Hospital Confinement payable under this benefit shall be the same Confinement day that is payable by the Company under the room and board benefit under Section 3(a) of Part 6 – Benefit Provisions of the Policy.

  • The program faculty and instructors will review assessment on an annual basis and create an action plan for any corrective actions that are needed.

  • If the Insured Person is confined in a Hospital within the Geographical Area as an in-patient for over 24 hours for surgery or treatment of Bodily Injury or Sickness causing loss or interruption of service to the Insured, the Company will pay the Insured for each Day of Hospital Confinement of the Insured Person subject to the maximum limit per each Day of Hospital Confinement and the maximum limit per Policy Year as stated in Section (6) of Part I - Summary of Benefits.

  • Day of Hospital Confinement: shall mean each continuous twenty-four (24) hour period that the Insured Person is Confined as an Inpatient for a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours.

  • The total number of Day of Hospital Confinement consequential upon any Sickness or Disease or Injury for claims accumulatively paid under this benefit of the Policy shall not exceed the maximum limits of days per Policy Year as set forth in the Benefit Schedule.
