Deputy Probation Officer definition

Deputy Probation Officer or “DPO” - An employee of the Probation Department who provides direct supervision of youth on formal probation.
Deputy Probation Officer or “DPO” - also referred to as Placement Officer, means an employee of Probation who performs a wide range of professional supervision and casework services for youth and families receiving services from Probation Child Welfare (PCW).
