Child Welfare definition

Child Welfare means the Oregon Department of Human Services, Child Welfare.
Child Welfare or "CW" means the division of child welfare with- in DCYF. CW provides case management to children and families involved in the child welfare system.
Child Welfare and “CW” each has the meaning provided for in OAR 410-120-0000.

  • Health and Welfare Plans means any Benefit Plan that was established or is maintained for the purpose of providing for its participants or their beneficiaries, through the purchase of insurance or otherwise, medical (including preferred provider organization, exclusive provider organization, and high deductible health plan coverages), dental, prescription, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life and accidental death and dismemberment, employee assistance, group legal services, wellness, cafeteria (including premium payment, health flexible spending account, and dependent care flexible spending account components), travel reimbursement, transportation, or other benefits in the event of sickness, accident, disability, death, or unemployment, vacation benefits, apprenticeship or other training programs, day care centers, scholarship funds, or prepaid legal services, including any such plan, fund, or program as defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.

  • Child welfare services means social services including

  • Health and Welfare Benefits means any form of insurance or similar benefit programs, which may include but not be limited to, medical, hospitalization, surgical, prescription drug, dental, optical, psychiatric, life, or long-term disability.

  • Welfare means that language referring to effects on welfare includes, but is not limited to, effects on soils, water, crops, vegetation, man-made materials, animals, wildlife, weather, visibility and climate, damage to and deterioration of property, and hazards to transportation, as well as effects on economic values and on personal comfort and well-being.

  • Retiree Welfare Plan means, at any time, a Welfare Plan that provides for continuing coverage or benefits for any participant or any beneficiary of a participant after such participant's termination of employment, other than continuation coverage provided pursuant to Section 4980B of the IRC and at the sole expense of the participant or the beneficiary of the participant.

  • Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children means: • Protecting children from maltreatment• Preventing impairment of children’s mental or physical health or development• Ensuring that children grow up in circumstances consistent with the provision of safe and effective care• Taking action to enable all children to have the best outcomes

  • Health means physical or mental health; and

  • Participating Clinical Social Worker means a Clinical Social Worker who has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Multiple employer welfare arrangement means a multiple employer welfare arrangement

  • Welfare Plan means a “welfare plan”, as such term is defined in Section 3(1) of ERISA.

  • Employee Welfare Benefit Plan has the meaning set forth in ERISA Sec. 3(1).

  • Non-Participating Clinical Social Worker means a Clinical Social Worker who does not have a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • Welfare Plans shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3.2.4.

  • Licensed clinical social worker means an individual who meets the licensed clinical social worker requirements established in KRS 335.100.

  • Public safety employee means a public employee who is employed as one of the following:

  • Clinical social worker means a person who practices social work as defined in § 54.1-3700.

  • Retiree means any person who has begun accruing a retirement

  • Dependent care assistance program or "DCAP" means a benefit plan whereby school employees may pay for certain employment related dependent care with pretax dollars as provided in the salary reduction plan under chapter 41.05 RCW pursuant to 26 U.S.C. Sec. 129 or other sections of the Internal Revenue Code.

  • Health care worker means a person other than a health care professional who provides medical, dental, or other health-related care or treatment under the direction of a health care professional with the authority to direct that individual's activities, including medical technicians, medical assistants, dental assistants, orderlies, aides, and individuals acting in similar capacities.

  • Employee Assistance Program means an established program capable of providing expert assessment of employee personal concerns; confidential and timely identification services with regard to employee drug or alcohol abuse; referrals of employees for appropriate diagnosis, treatment and assistance; and follow-up services for employees who participate in the program or require monitoring after returning to work. If, in addition to the above activities, an employee assistance program provides diagnostic and treatment services, these services shall in all cases be provided by the program.

  • Dental means of or relating to the teeth and the work of a dentist.

  • Clinical supervisor means any of the following:

  • Disabled parking license plate means a license plate that displays the international symbol of access

  • Participating Retail Health Clinic means a Retail Health Clinic which has a written agreement with the Claim Administrator or another Blue Cross and/or Blue Shield Plan to provide services to you at the time services are rendered.

  • MHLW means the Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, and any successor agency thereto.
