Designated Peril definition

Designated Peril means lack of moisture at the Selected Weather Station(s). For greater clarity, this is the only Designated Peril under this Insuring Agreement, and the Designated Perils listed under Article 1 of the Terms and Conditions do not apply to this Insuring Agreement.
Designated Peril means a designated risk or hazard against which an Insured seeks to protect itself when purchasing a policy of insurance. For this Contract, the Designated Perils are limited to the following:
Designated Peril means hail, fire by lightning, or accidental fire. For greater clarity, these are the only Designated Perils under this Insuring Agreement, and the additional Designated Perils listed under Article 1 of the Terms and Conditions do not apply to this Insuring Agreement.

Examples of Designated Peril in a sentence

  • If any Acreage of Insured Crop insured under the Continuous Hail Insurance Option is lost or damaged as a result of a Designated Peril other than hail or fire or both and the Insured reseeds such Acreage to the same or different Insurable Crop, then the Insured must pay a Premium under this Contract only in respect of the reseeded crop.

  • If damage from the Designated Peril of Hail is calculated by AFSC to be in excess of 70 percent but less than or equal to 90 percent, an additional allowance shall be made.

  • Credit will only be given for students that pass the exam on these given dates.

  • Lack of moisture at the Selected Weather Station(s) is the only Designated Peril.

  • Where the Insured Crop has incurred damage from a Designated Peril prior to harvest, and on which damage only becomes apparent in storage on or before November 15, an Indemnity shall be calculated based on full Coverage.

  • In the event of damage by a Designated Peril, the Indemnity would be paid on the actual acres seeded and based on the percentage of loss AFSC determines on the female plants.
