Detached Buildings or Structures definition

Detached Buildings or Structures means your separate detached garage or other separate buildings or structures located on the Premises, as well as any construction materials and supplies intended for use on these detached buildings. Even if you have more than one detached building or structure on your premises, we will pay no more than the limit of insurance shown on the Declarations page.

  • Applicable Only If The Form Number Appears On The Declarations Page Of The Policy In the ev ent of loss, should the limit of insurance shown on the Declaration page applicable to any of the f ollowing sub-sections of Section One, - Dwelling Building, Detached Buildings or Structures, Personal Property , Additional Liv ing Expenses - become exhausted, y ou may then apply the unused limit of the remaining sub-sections to satisf y your loss until the total limit of all sub-sections has been exhausted.

  • Detached building means any building which is not physically connected to the dwelling.

  • temporary building or structure means a Building or structure constructed or erected or placed on land for a continuous period not exceeding twelve months, or an addition or alteration to a Building or structure that has the effect of increasing the total floor area thereof for a continuous period not exceeding twelve months;

  • Structures means an elevated road or a flyover, as the case may be;

  • Outer burial container means any container which is designed for placement in the ground around a casket or an urn including but not limited to containers commonly known as burial vaults, urn vaults, grave boxes, grave liners, and lawn crypts.

  • Elevated Building means a non-basement building which has its lowest elevated floor raised above ground level by foundation walls, shear walls, posts, piers, pilings, or columns.

  • Modular building means, but shall not be limited to, single and multifamily houses, apartment

  • Accessory building or structure means any portable, demountable or permanent structure,

  • farm building means that part of a bona fide farming operation encompassing barns, silos and other ancillary development to an agricultural use, but excluding a residential use;

  • Accessory Structure (Appurtenant Structure means a structure located on the same parcel of property as the principal structure and the use of which is incidental to the use of the principal structure. Garages, carports and storage sheds are common urban accessory structures. Pole barns, hay sheds and the like qualify as accessory structures on farms, and may or may not be located on the same parcel as the farm dwelling or shop building.

  • semi-detached dwelling means a building divided vertically into two dwelling units each of which has a separate entrance and access to grade;

  • single detached dwelling means a completely detached Building containing only one Dwelling Unit;

  • Qualified building means a building built at least 30 years before the date of application, located within a designated downtown or, village center, or neighborhood development area, which, upon completion of the project supported by the tax credit, will be an income-producing building not used solely as a single-family residence. Churches and other buildings owned by religious organization may be qualified buildings, but in no event shall tax credits be used for religious worship.

  • Area of shallow flooding means a designated AO or AH Zone on a community's Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM) with one percent or greater annual chance of flooding to an average depth of one to three feet where a clearly defined channel does not exist, where the path of flooding is unpredictable and indeterminate; and where velocity flow may be evident. Such flooding is characterized by ponding or sheet flow.

  • Building Area means the greatest horizontal area of a building within the outside surface of the exterior walls.

  • Interior of the dwelling unit means the inside of the dwelling unit, consisting of interior walls,

  • Building Square Footage or "BSF" means the square footage of assessable internal living space of a Unit, exclusive of any carports, walkways, garages, overhangs, patios, enclosed patios, detached accessory structure, other structures not used as living space, or any other square footage excluded under Government Code Section 65995 as determined by reference to the Building Permit for such Unit.

  • Landing area means that part of a movement area intended for the landing or take-off of aircraft;

  • Building means any structure used or intended for supporting or sheltering any use or occupancy.

  • Parking Structure means a Building, or any part thereof, principally used for the parking of motor vehicles;

  • Adjacent means either immediately contiguous to or abutting a neighboring property, lot or walkway, and excludes property, lots, or walkways across the street from, or diagonally opposite across an intersection from the subject property, lot, or walkway.

  • Underground area means an underground room, such as a basement, cellar, shaft or vault, providing enough space for physical inspection of the exterior of the tank situated on or above the surface of the floor.

  • Interior means the spaces, parts, components or elements of an individual dwelling unit.
