Discount Factors definition

Discount Factors means the following Discount Factors which are to be used for purposes of calculating theDiscounted Value” of the assets of the Fund for purposes of determining maintenance of thePreferred Stock Basic Maintenance Amount” (it being understood that any asset held by the Fund for which no Discount Factor is specified in these Guidelines shall have a Discounted Value of zero). To the extent the Market Value of the securities of any single issuer owned by the Fund exceeds 5% of the aggregate Market Value of all Eligible Assets, the Discount Factor applied to such securities shall be increased by 0.02 for each percentage of such concentration above 5% of the aggregate Market Value of all Eligible Assets.

Examples of Discount Factors in a sentence

  • The Fitch Discount Factors presented in the immediately preceding table will also apply to corporate obligations backed by a guaranty, a letter of credit or insurance issued by a third party.

  • For purposes of determining in clause (b) of the preceding sentence whether the Discounted Value of Moody’s Eligible Assets at least equals the MuniPreferred Basic Maintenance Amount, the Moody’s Discount Factors applicable to Moody’s Eligible Assets shall be determined by reference to the first Exposure Period longer than the Exposure Period then applicable to the Fund, as described in the definition of Moody’s Discount Factor herein.

  • For purposes of determining in clause (b) of the preceding sentence whether the Discounted Value of Moody's Eligible Assets at least equals the MuniPreferred Basic Maintenance Amount, the Moody's Discount Factors applicable to Moody's Eligible Assets shall be determined by reference to the first Exposure Period longer than the Exposure Period then applicable to the Fund, as described in the definition of Moody's Discount Factor herein.

  • For purposes of determining in clause (b) of the preceding sentence whether the Discounted Value of Moody's Eligible Assets at least equals the Municipal Preferred Basic Maintenance Amount, the Moody's Discount Factors applicable to Moody's Eligible Assets shall be determined by reference to the first Exposure Period longer than the Exposure Period then applicable to the Trust, as described in the definition of Moody's Discount Factor herein.

  • The Fitch Discount Factors presented in the immediately preceding table will also apply to preferred trust certificates, the rating on which will be determined by the underlying debt instruments in the trust, unless such preferred trust certificates are determined by Fitch Ratings to qualify for a traditional equity discount factor, in which case the Fitch Discount Factor shall be 370%.

  • The Fitch Discount Factors presented in the immediately preceding table apply to Debt Securities that are Performing and have a Market Value determined by a Pricing Service or an Approved Price.

  • The Fitch Discount Factors presented in the immediately preceding table will also apply to corporate obligations backed by a guarantee, a letter of credit or insurance issued by a third party.

  • Discount Factor means the percentage discount applied to additional APCs when more than one APC is provided during the same visit (including the same APC provided more than once). Not all APCs are subject to a discount factor.

  • S&P Discount Factor means for purposes of determining the Discounted Value of any S&P Eligible Asset, the percentage determined by reference to the rating on such asset and the shortest Exposure Period set forth opposite such rating that is the same length as or is longer than the S&P Exposure Period, in accordance with the table set forth below:

  • Fitch Discount Factor means the discount factors set forth in the Fitch Guidelines for use in calculating the Agency Discounted Value of the Company’s assets in connection with Fitch’s ratings then assigned on the Preferred Shares.
