Drilling Rights definition

Drilling Rights means any oil and gas leases, overriding royalty interests, mineral interests, farmins, farmouts, option farmins, working interests, back-in working interests, carried interests, reversionary leasehold interests, force pooled interests and/or any other contractual, economic or statutory right in and to oil, gas and/or other hydrocarbons.

  • Mining Rights means all interests in the surface of any lands, the minerals in (or that may be extracted from) any lands, all royalty agreements, water rights, patented and unpatented mining and millsite claims, fee interests, mineral leases, mining licenses, profits-a-prendre, joint ventures and other leases, rights-of-way, inurements, licenses and other rights and interests used by or necessary to mining and related processing operations.

  • Drilling unit means the area fixed for the drilling of one well by order or rule of any state or federal body having authority. If a Drilling Unit is not fixed by any such rule or order, a Drilling Unit shall be the drilling unit as established by the pattern of drilling in the Contract Area unless fixed by express agreement of the Drilling Parties.

  • Drilling operations means the drilling of an oil and gas well and the production and completion operations ensuing from the drilling which require entry upon the surface estate and which were commenced after June 30, 1979, and oil and gas geophysical and seismograph exploration activities commenced after June 30, 1983.

  • Project Land means any parcel or parcels of land on which the project is developed and constructed by a promoter;

  • Subject Properties has the meaning specified in Section 5.13(a).
