Drug Approval Applications definition

Drug Approval Applications means an application for Regulatory Approval required before commercial sale or use of a Product as a drug in a regulatory jurisdiction.
Drug Approval Applications means a New Drug Application, or a supplement thereof, as defined under Section 505(b)(1) or 505(b)(2) of the FDCA, or an equivalent application filed with any Regulatory Authority in any country other than the United States.
Drug Approval Applications shall have the meaning set forth in Section 4.11.

  • Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Novartis shall have full control and authority and sole responsibility for (A) making all Regulatory Filings for Licensed Products and filing all Drug Approval Applications and otherwise seeking all Regulatory Approvals regarding such matters and (B) reporting of all Adverse Events to Regulatory Authorities if and to the extent required by Applicable Laws.

  • In addition, Xxxxxx shall provide Enanta with initial IND filings or Drug Approval Applications sufficiently in advance of submission so that Enanta may review and comment on the substance of such Regulatory Filing or other document or correspondence.

  • Xxxxxx shall consult with Enanta in good faith in the preparation of all Drug Approval Applications for Candidates.

  • Each Party shall own all regulatory submissions including all Drug Approval Applications for C2B8 that such Party files in the Co-Promotion Territory.

  • Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Bayer shall have sole responsibility for (A) making all Regulatory Filings for Licensed Products and filing all Drug Approval Applications and otherwise seeking all Regulatory Approvals regarding such matters and (B) reporting of all Adverse Events to Regulatory Authorities if and to the extent required by Applicable Laws.

  • The purpose of such foregoing interactions shall be to identify and resolve any potential reasonable concerns of Ardelyx in advance of the proposed filing of such Drug Approval Applications (and in particular the initial Drug Approval Application) in the U.S. Territory.

  • Novartis shall have the sole right to select Licensed Compounds for development into Licensed Products, to discontinue development of Licensed Products, to substitute new or back-up Licensed Products for discontinued ones, to control the Development thereof, and to hold all Drug Approval Applications and obtain and hold all Regulatory Approvals with respect thereto on a worldwide basis, subject to the obligations of diligence set forth in this Section 3.

  • Xxxxxx shall own all Regulatory Filings and Drug Approval Applications for Candidates, subject to Section 11.3.

  • All rights granted by Grünenthal related to Product(s) terminated shall revert to Grünenthal and OMP shall promptly transfer to Grünenthal all INDs, Drug Approval Application and Regulatory Approvals including all clinical data associated therewith in case of entire termination of this Agreement or the respective INDs (if IND relates solely to Product terminated), Drug Approval Applications and Regulatory Approvals including all clinical data associated therewith in case of partly termination.

  • Drug Approval Application means an application for Regulatory Approval required before commercial sale or use of a Product as a drug in a regulatory jurisdiction.

  • Regulatory Approval Application means any application submitted to an appropriate Regulatory Authority seeking any Regulatory Approval.

  • Marketing Approval Application or “MAA” means a New Drug Application (or its equivalent), as defined in the U.S. Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder, or any corresponding or similar application, registration or certification in any country.

  • Drug Application means a new drug application, an abbreviated drug application, or a product license application for any Product, as appropriate, as those terms are defined in the FDCA.

  • Approval Application means a BLA, NDA or similar application or submission for a Product filed with a Regulatory Authority in a country or group of countries to obtain marketing approval for a biological or pharmaceutical product in that country or group of countries.

  • New Drug Application or “NDA” means a New Drug Application filed with the FDA as described in 21 C.F.R. § 314, a Biological License Application (BLA) pursuant to 21 C.F.R. § 601.2, or any equivalent or any corresponding application for Regulatory Approval (not including pricing and reimbursement approval) in any country or regulatory jurisdiction other than the United States.

  • Biologics License Application or “BLA” means an application requesting permission from the FDA to introduce, or deliver for introduction, a biological product into interstate commerce, or any similar application or submission for marketing authorization of a product filed with a Regulatory Authority to obtain Regulatory Approval for such product in a country or group of countries.

  • Marketing Authorization Application or “MAA” means an application to the appropriate Regulatory Authority for approval to sell the Product (but excluding Pricing Approval) in any particular country or regulatory jurisdiction.

  • Regulatory Approval means any and all approvals, licenses, registrations or authorizations of any Regulatory Authority that are necessary for the marketing and sale of a product in a country or group of countries.

  • Marketing Approval means all approvals, licenses, registrations or authorizations of the Regulatory Authority in a country, necessary for the manufacture, use, storage, import, marketing and sale of a Product in such country.

  • FDA means the United States Food and Drug Administration and any successor agency thereto.

  • NDA Approval means the Approval of an NDA by the FDA for a Product in the U.S.

  • BLA means a Biologics License Application under the United States’ Public Health Services Act and Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetics Act, each as amended, and the regulations promulgated thereunder, or a comparable filing seeking Regulatory Approval in any country.

  • ANDA means Abbreviated New Drug Application.

  • MAA Approval means approval of an MAA by the applicable Regulatory Authority for marketing and sale of a Product in the applicable country or jurisdiction, but excluding any Pricing and Reimbursement Approval.

  • Key Regulatory Approvals means those sanctions, rulings, consents, orders, exemptions, permits and other approvals (including the lapse, without objection, of a prescribed time under a statute or regulation that states that a transaction may be implemented if a prescribed time lapses following the giving of notice without an objection being made) of Governmental Entities as set out in Schedule C hereto;

  • Regulatory Approvals with respect to the Warrantholder, means, to the extent applicable and required to permit the Warrantholder to exercise this Warrant for shares of Common Stock and to own such Common Stock without the Warrantholder being in violation of applicable law, rule or regulation, the receipt of any necessary approvals and authorizations of, filings and registrations with, notifications to, or expiration or termination of any applicable waiting period under, the Xxxx-Xxxxx-Xxxxxx Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended, and the rules and regulations thereunder.

  • Marketing Authorization means all approvals from the relevant Regulatory Authority necessary to market and sell a Licensed Product in any country (including without limitation all applicable Price Approvals even if not legally required to sell Licensed Product in a country).

  • NDA means a New Drug Application, as defined in the U.S. Food, Drug and Cosmetic Act and the regulations promulgated thereunder, or any corresponding foreign application, registration or certification.

  • FDA Approval means with respect to the Product, a Regulatory Approval by the FDA for the commercial use of the Product in the United States.

  • Regulatory Filing means any documentation comprising or relating to or supporting any filing or application with any Regulatory Authority with respect to the Licensed Product, including any documents submitted to any Regulatory Authority, including INDs, Regulatory Approval Applications, and all correspondence with any Regulatory Authority with respect to any Licensed Product (including minutes of any meetings, telephone conferences, or discussions with any Regulatory Authority).

  • MAA means a marketing authorization application filed with the EMA after completion of Clinical Studies to obtain Approval for a Product under the centralized European filing procedure or, if the centralized EMA filing procedure is not used, filed using the applicable procedures in any European Union country or other country in Europe.

  • Required Regulatory Approvals means the Seller Required Regulatory Approvals and the Buyer Required Regulatory Approvals.

  • Drug abuse means any pattern of pathological use of drugs that causes impairment in social or occupational functioning, or that produces physiological dependency evidenced by physical tolerance or by physical symptoms when it is withdrawn.

  • Requisite Regulatory Approvals has the meaning set forth in Section 7.01(b).

  • IND means (a) an Investigational New Drug Application as defined in the FD&C Act and applicable regulations promulgated thereunder by the FDA, or (b) the equivalent application to the equivalent agency in any other regulatory jurisdiction, the filing of which is necessary to initiate or conduct clinical testing of a pharmaceutical product in humans in such jurisdiction.
